More About Me
My real estate career was launched as a direct result of my first real estate purchase. As an inexperienced first-time home buyer, I called an agent from a For Sale sign at a property I wanted to preview. Although that property wasn't the right fit for me, that agent suggested we look at some properties that might be a better fit. A short time later, I purchased my first home and in 1989 that same agent recruited me to become a licensed agent with her broker. She became my mentor and we shared several listings and sales during that time.
Over the years, my career has expanded in several areas of expertise. I've worked with first-time home buyers, repeat buyers, buyers up-sizing, buyers down-sizing, relatives, and even children and grandchildren of my clients. So many of my initial clients have provided referrals over the years. As some of my clients began to age and were seeking to downsize, I saw the need to gain expertise in assisting those clients in the process of downsizing or transitioning to senior living options. I pursued and obtained the designation of Realtor Senior Advisor (RSA.) That designation has proven to be very beneficial in these later years of my career.
Since I have been associated with CENTURY 21 Atwood, my peers and colleagues have awarded me with 2 peer-nominated awards for inclusion.
A major highlight of my career was the nomination and selection by satisfied clients as a Twin Cities Super Agent by the MPLS/ST PAUL magazine's annual "BEST OF" issue.
To be honored by both my peers and clients is the most meaningful endorsement of all. In this business, it is all about the clients you represent and the peers who provide advice and support. This is what has made my 33 years as a Realtor a rich and rewarding experience.
As my tagline states: Your referral is a most appreciated compliment.
